This candidate will be responsible for Business Analysis activities across multiple Marketing projects. Major responsibilities include requirements gathering, transforming conceptual ideas to innovative robust solutions, testing, and coordinating the deployment of the projects with the business team. This person will be managing UA requirements for development by an onshore/offshore development provider, and will be responsible for the definition of product deliverables to ensure smooth integration. This person must be a good team player and problem solver with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Utilizes experience and knowledge of Project Management, Business Analysis, and technical skills to Lead the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with technical and non-technical solutions.
- Serves as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with Enterprise Applications including CRM and consistent with the business/technology roadmap.
- Leads the detailed requirements stage, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the client.
- Details requirements through product(s) development and other functions to support the project team.
- Applies functional knowledge to design and customization of workflow systems that provide seamless integration for applications.
- Performs business impact analysis of new systems and process, and ensures business readiness for deployment.
- Leads the activities to translate the business requirements into create use cases, activity diagrams, and functional specifications to define the scope and requirements for development projects.
- Provides leadership on the project team to identify and facilitate the resolution of requirements, process, and project issues.
- Guides teams to analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, and project timeline.
- Assists in the development of project plans specifying project objectives, tasks, staff requirements, identification of risks, and contingency planning.
- Takes ownership of business related issues, performs a consulting role in solving those issues in working with both Business and IT.
- Assumes role of lead analyst in ensuring full product specifications are captured and supports delivery cycle through development, testing and acceptance.

Required Experience
- The position requires strong software development and project leadership skills in all project life-cycle phases.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of business practices and processes, with ability to clearly document and communicate business concepts
- Hands-on proficiency with word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), Visio, Microsoft Project, Internet browsers, and e-mail
- General knowledge of relational database technologies
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of computer, software, networking, and Internet technologies including content management, personalization, campaign management, and application servers
- Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design is desired
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of project management processes and skills
- Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Rational Unified Process (RUP) is a plus
- Airline or travel agency experience and CRS (Apollo or Sabre) experience is desired
