Account Directors hold overall responsibility for account and client management. They lead relationships with clients, vendors and team members, actively participating in the strategic direction of programs while also owning the day-to-day project details of task, budget, scope and schedule management; quality; account billings; and reporting and documentation. AD's usually work on multiple accounts with overlapping deadlines. Critical Job Responsibilities
- Account strategy: actively contribute to strategy phase of the project, researching and understanding clients' market and industry issues; helping Baker team summarize strategy findings and recommendations for client branding and marketing communications efforts
- Client management: lead client relationship; main client contact; act as internal advocate for client needs and expectations
- Execution management: manage account scope, schedule, team resources, task flow, and asset acquisition; assist in the presentation of work-in-progress milestones with creative team; accountable for documenting, communicating and following through on all client mandates, feedback, requirements, etc.,
- Account P&L responsibility: prepare and monitor estimates, proposals, change orders, budgets, account billings, PO's requests for quotes, etc.
- Quality control: ensures deliverables meet stated goals and objectives as well as the highest standards of quality
- Business development/studio operations support: assist with business development, marketing and operations initiatives as needed
Required Skills
- Familiarity with brand and design methodologies is critical; web or multimedia account experience a plus.
- Proficiency with software application tools such as MS Office Suite and PowerPoint or Keynote is required.

Required Experience
- Candidates will likely have 5+ years of program-level account management experience in a branding or marketing communications environment.
- Four-year degree also required.
