We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to analyze financial data accurately.
Required Skills
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial records on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial analysis.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve accounting-related issues and inquiries.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
