Tech Writer II

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Lucee QA 01. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for our software products. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our users have access to accurate and user-friendly documentation that enhances their experience with our products. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required Skills

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical concepts
3. Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, or MadCap Flare
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance
5. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
6. Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and high-quality documentation
7. Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies
8. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML is a plus

Required Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field
2. Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
3. Experience working in the software development industry
4. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
5. Experience using version control systems, such as Git or SVN
6. Portfolio of previous technical writing projects is a plus
